Hey so I am going to be an Aunt!! So very exciting, but prayers would be nice because he is cominga month ealry....right now everything is going well so I will be an aunt to day for sure!!! So if you would keep Heather and her baby (Ethan) in your prayers that you be so great! Thank you all!

Memorial day that is a good day to be born!!!!!

I want to share with you what I will be doing in the next few years and ask for your prayers as I take on these next steps in my life. I have worked at a camp every summer since I was a little girl, that is where my heart is and I feel God's leading right now in my life to pursue this ministry.

So this summer I will be working 4 weeks as a counselor at Pleasant Valley Bible Camp. I will be leaving June 17^th to help my mom set up the craft shop and mini mall. Training starts July 5^th and the first week of camp is July 9^th. I will have two weeks of Jr. campers ages 8-11, and two weeks of Jr. High campers ages 12-15. I am so excited God has given me such an amazing opportunity. I am looking forward to being part of these girls lives. God commands us in Matthew 5:16 “Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.” I pray that God will use me to be a light in these girls lives, so that they may see God and truly come to know Him!

Then August 6^th , two days after I get back from camp, I will be leaving for Tennessee where I will be attending Tennessee Temple University. I will be majoring in Women's ministry and Business/Accounting. God has really called me to TTU because of this missions statement....

This was the reason I chose TTU because they strive to make Christ the center of all aspects of the college experience. I will be involved with ministries in the local church and be growing closer to God each day. Weekly with four other girls from my dorm we will have a devotional and prayer time, we have chapel twice a week, and there are many programs to get involved in. There is a camp close by and I am praying that if it is the Lords will that He will give me the opportunity to work at this camp in 2008.

I am really excited in what God has planned for my life and the direction in which I am going. There are a few specific prayer requests which are

• with working at camp this summer it doesn't allow me to have a summer job to put away money for college so that will become a great need.

• I will have many traveling expenses for both camp and college

• when I am down in Tennessee I will need to find employment

God is so amazing! My life would just not be the same without Him. 'I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me.' Philippians 4:13.  
Prayer request ~ my surgery is on the 17th of this month! Then I have just a few more weeks till I am done with work , then 5 weeks at camp and off to college in august...it is all so exciting!!! "My God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:19 We are using the money for college and the summer on my surgery, so there is a lot of money that is needed to pull this all off. But I have no doubt that God will supply all my needs for these things.Prayer would be much appreciated. Thank you for them.

The Update ~ Today I went riding with Ree and we rode too long and it hurts, but it was totally worth it!! We had a great time!! Got ice cream and then came home. My dad is finally looking like my dad again after shaving his beard for the teens at church!!

God has really been teaching me a lot and I have really looked at my life and the verse that I use as my prayer every morning is "Whether, then, you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all for the glory of God." 1Corinthians 10:31. It has just been amazing and it is nice to be living my life for God again instead of myself.

oh and good news God has answered prayers and my sister is off Texas to take summer classes for her degeree. So she will be right on schedule in the fall. Now if that doesnt prove how Great God is..... In the matter of a day she has gotten what she needs to make the move. How awesome is God!?!

Wow it has been a long time...

I hope you all are doing great!!!

Really God is just amazing...He has been teaching me so much in my life in the last week and I am just in awe of Him. This morning's service at church was very convicting, God was really speaking to my heart and really challenging me on living my life for Him and His glory..."Whether, then you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all for the glory of God." 2 Corinthians 10:31  Sitting back and  evaluating my life I really needed to ask myself that question 'amI really living my life with God, for His glory?' So that is my prayer that in all I do that it will bring glory to God!!!! It is just wonderful, and living with the promise God gives us Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." It is so true....God is so amazing!!!
Psalm 37:4 "Delight yourself in the Lord; and He will give you the desires of your heart." 

"We had a silent auction at church today to raise support to off set the cost of TLC for the youth group...we raised enough money to send over 15 teens, so God really blessed this time. In that my dad and my uncle's beards and mustaches went for $200 and my pastor to get a hair cut went for $500. It was a great a time of fellowship and was very encouraging to be together with brothers and sisters in Christ and raising money for these teens. Sending over 15 teens to TLC is the a huge answer to prayer and all of their lives will be changed with this awesome experience. Praise God!!!!!
